City Living B&B Review

What a great stay! The accommodations were more than comfortable for our family. We stayed in the room with two beds which worked out perfect for us and two small kids. The house itself is well kept, clean and all amenities were taken care of. It was also very safe with a gate and multiple locks on the house. The house is on a side street off of a busy street which had lots of restaurants and bars so we were in the city but it wasn't too noisy at night. Janine the host was easy to get in touch with regarding our stay and although she wasn't there to meet us her mother in law and husband were beyond welcoming. Our breakfasts exceeded our expectations - fresh juice, fruit, pancakes, sausage, eggs, along with local food - doubles, saltfish and bake, fried plantain - I could go on and on. Looking forward to our next trip back with our family!

City Living B&B Review

Hi Janine,
Your efforts to make your place "a harmonious and safe environment where people can be themselves and make life long friends" were successful. I truly enjoyed the relaxed environment that your place offered and felt safe the entire time I was there. I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Trinidad whether during Carnival season or not, its a place for all seasons. The breakfast was delicious, so please give my compliments to the chefs who made sure we started our day with a hearty Trinidadian breakfast...really, the food was awesome!! Thanks again for your tremendous hospitality, you were a wonderful host and that place is a jewel; I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Trinidad, everything you want seems to be in that area.

I almost forgot I actually paid to stay there, that's how comfortable I felt; it felt like I was staying by a friend's house.
Thanks again Janine and looking forward to my next trip to your country.

P.S. We jammin' still!!!

CITY LIVING BED & BREAKFAST REVIEW

I had a fantastic time, the residence was perfect, as was the catering and host!

City Living Bed & Breakfast Review

"This is how anxious I am to write my review! I'm here for two weeks and I'm writing my review on day 2! My major purpose is for carnival but I'm staying longer for pre and post action. This ain't my first rodeo. I made the best decision ever this year!

From my airport pick up straight to breakfast this morning was all great! We're in the heart of town, close to the avenue, the stadium, and all the action! I feel secure, the location, keypad locks and security! My room and my bathroom are very spacious. Has closet space! Oh and my bed is so comfortable once I lie down and get up I don't know what time of day it is!

Our host, Janine, is super nice and helpful...really down to earth! She went over and beyond to make my stay welcoming! This day couldn't come any sooner. She's very professional and knowledgeable. 5 stars in my book. This will be my go to accommodation from now till eternity! I'm sold."

City Living Bed & Breakfast Review

My family and I were visiting Trinidad for a week. The place we originally booked didn’t match the photos online and it was grungy and dirty. I frantically started looking for options and got connected to Janine. To say that City Living Bed & Breakfast was a lifesaver is an understatement. It literally made the difference between a miserable trip and an amazing Trinidad experience.

Janine guided us through the whole experience and even organized transport for us. We were picked up and arrived at the bed and breakfast which immediately felt like home. Everything was clean and modern, and everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. The location could not be more perfect. There were bars, restaurants, and entertainment all within walking distance on Ariapita avenue, yet our street was quiet and residential.

The cherry on the cake was when Janine and Kyle took my sister and I out for a night on the town. We went dancing, they introduced us to their friends, and we even got late night doubles. It was a truly awesome night, vibes all the way. When the family and I took a day trip to Tobago Janine and Kyle told us exactly what to do and we had a great time. I really can’t see myself staying anywhere else on my next Trinidad trip. I’ll pick City Living Bed & Breakfast over a hotel any day and I’ve stayed at the best. Not only are the accommodations excellent but the people are fantastic. It truly felt like a home away from home.

City Living B&B Review

This was an amazing experience. The location was excellent as were the accommodations. Located right off of the main avenue in POS the house was beautiful, modern, great outdoor space and bar with friendly staff. Very welcoming atmosphere with incredible hosts that were willing to go the extra mile to ensure this trip was simply fantastic. Inclusive and friendly atmosphere very welcoming. Food was delicious. Can't say enough good things!!! Met amazing ppl and can't wait to stay with them again. I would recommend staying here to any and everyone. It was our first carnival experience and Janine was able to organize and assist and ensure that we had the most inclusive experience. The house while amidst the action was so relaxing it was an essential get away, truly the best of both worlds during carnival. I can't wait to visit during a less hectic season.
